This section measures your ability to understand English as it is spoken in North America.
There are two parts in this section, with special directions for each part.
You have 19 minutes and 30 seconds to answer all of the questions in both parts. The time you spend listening to the test material is not counted.
The listening material and questions will be presented only one time. You may not take notes during the test.
To check the sound level, click on the Volume icon now. You cannot adjust the volume after you dismiss the directions and begin the test.
After you answer a question, click on Next and then on Confirm Answer. After you confirm an answer, you cannot return to the question.
When you are ready to continue, click on the Dismiss Directions icon.
